Hengam Island (Persian: جزیره هنگام), Hengam Island is located at south of Qeshm Island and in the Persian Gulf. The distance between Hengam Island and Qeshm Island is about 2 km through the sea. Along the beach there are lots of oceanic turtles,Dolphins,corals and many sharks at the sea, which are parts of this Island

attractions.Hengam Island is 36.6 square Kms wide with the truncated cone shape. It has low calcareous heights. The highest point of these heights is Nakas Mountain that is about 106 meters. This mountain has about 9 km diameter from old Hengam village to the new Hengam village.The only economic source of earning money, almost all of the natives of Hengam's occupation, is fishing. The most attractive and interesting sighseeing of Hengam and places to visit there, beside its beautiful nature, are English harbor buildings, their coal storage, and along the Island, the Purtuges sunken ships.
