Hunting High and Low is the 1985 debut album of the Norwegian pop music band, a-ha. It features the hit, "Take on Me". The album peaked at #15 in the U.S., according to Billboard magazine music charts and has sold about 1.8 million copies in the U.S. It peaked at #2 on the UK charts, and hit #1 in Norway.

• The track "Hunting High and Low" was deemed unsuitable to play by BBC during the Gulf War.[1]^{[citation needed]} Authoritative source required.
• The single for "The Sun Always Shines On TV" is an edit from the album version. "Train of Thought" was remixed for its single version, as was "Hunting High and Low", which gained strings and brass for its single version. It is these edits and remixes that appear on a-ha's "Best of" compilations.
• The non-album track "Driftwood" is also from these sessions, and can be found as the b-side for "The Sun Always Shines on TV" and on the Japan-only EP 45 R.P.M. Club.

• This album marked the second occasion on which Tony Mansfield would have his work doctored by Alan Tarney post-production: the first was Naked Eyes debut effort. It is unclear if the two ever had any exchanges over the matter.
