Higher and Higher is a Broadway musical comedy that opened April 4, 1940, with music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Lorenz Hart, and book by Gladys Hurlbut and Joshua Logan. It was produced by Dwight Deere Wiman. It ran for 84 performances at the Shubert Theatre.
The show starred Jack Haley, Marta Eggert, and Shirley Ross, with Leif Erickson and Lee Dixon and included Vera Ellen and June Allyson.
