"Hold On" is the debut single by Wilson Phillips.

"Hold On" became Wilson Phillips' first number one single by reaching the top spot of the Billboard Hot 100 on June 9, 1990. It also peaked at number 6 in the UK.

The single became a huge success of 1990 and it ranked number one on the Billboard Hot 100 year end charts for the year. At the Grammy Awards of 1991 this song received a nomination for Song of the Year losing to "From a Distance" by Julie Gold and performed by Bette Midler [1].

The song was featured in the movie Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle when Kumar and Harold go on a road trip and parody the Bohemian Rhapsody sing along from Wayne's World, finding the tune in a pickup owned by the local miscreants.
