Holly Golightly

- This article is about the singer, Holly Golightly. It is also the name of the protagonist in the Truman Capote novella Breakfast at Tiffany's, and the name of the protagonist in the novella's 1961 film adapatation (played by Audrey Hepburn). Holly Golightly is also the name of the comic book artist, known as Fauve in her early years.

Holly Golightly (born Holly Golightly Smith) is an English singer-songwriter.
She is a former member of the all-girl garage band Thee Headcoatees, the female incarnation of Billy Childish group Thee Headcoats. For her solo career, she draws from rhythm and blues, rockabilly, and sounds of the 1960s or earlier. She has released thirteen studio albums of her own and has collaborated with other artists, such as Billy Childish and Rocket From The Crypt, and most notably The White Stripes; she is featured on the track "It's True That We Love One Another" from their album, Elephant. She performed two songs on the soundtrack of the Jim Jarmusch movie Broken Flowers 1) "There Is an End (Featuring Holly Golightly)" by The Greenhornes & Holly Golightly (can also be found on album Dual Mono) and 2) "Tell Me Now So I Know" by Holly Golightly (found on album "Truly She Is None Other"). She is also a collector of rare old songs which she often covers. Her next album is "You Can't Buy A Gun When Youre Crying" out in May 2007
