The House of Representatives of Belize is one of two chambers of the National Assembly, the other being the Senate. It was created under the 1981 constitution.

Members are elected by winning a majority of votes in their constituency under the first past the post system. When created there were 18 members, this number was increased to 28 in 1984 and to 29 in 1993. It is expected that two more seats will be added for the next House election, to be held by 2008.
