Huw Bennett

Huw Bennett (born 11 June 1983 in Ebbw Vale) is a Welsh rugby union footballer, who currently plays for the Ospreys in the Celtic League and the Heineken Cup. He has also played for the Welsh national team, and was a part of their 2003 Rugby World Cup squad. His usual position is at hooker.
Bennett represented Wales at both under-19 and under-21 level. He made his debut for Wales against Ireland in 2003, and he was then included in the squad for the 2003 World Cup in Australia. He played in the games against Canada and Tonga. In 2004 he played against Scotland and France in the 2004 Six Nations Championship. He was also named in Mike Ruddock's first Wales squad, for the 2004 tour to Argentina and South Africa. Bennett has appeared for Wales 11 times, but has only had 2 starts, both against Argentina, in 2004 and 2006.
