Aaliyah had not had the chance to shoot a video for the single due to her untimely death. This Single is Her favorite on the album. The rare music video for "I Care 4 U" was directed by Little X. He edited together clips from a Japanese anime commercial. Aaliyah is portrayed as a beautiful ghostly female figure serenading a concert audience as she floats around the stadium. In the later half she is portrayed as a bright angel flying through a city. The angel leaves behind several small feathers, the video was not very popular at the time of it's release and many TV stations never showed it. It can be found on X's website. Another video was made by a fan on YouTube, Spally87, posted June 23, 2006 and has so far had over 400,000 hits, it combines black & white video footage of Aaliyah's music videos, live performances and the tragic accident giving it a full dramatic effect.
Before the release of "I Care 4 U" another track from Aaliyah started to gain airplay, "I Can Be". It peaked at #102 on the U.S. R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
