Ian Henderson (born 23 April 1983 in Torquay, England) is an Australian professional rugby league player who currently plays for the New Zealand Warriors in the National Rugby League (NRL) competition. He primarily plays at hooker. Henderson previously played for the Sydney Roosters and Parramatta Eels in the NRL and the Bradford Bulls in the Super League.
Henderson is the brother of Andy Henderson of Castleford Tigers and Kevin Henderson of Wakefield Trinity Wildcats. He is of Scottish descent and plays for Scotland at international level.[1]
Henderson signed with the Bradford Bulls in 2005, where he made a massive impact in helping Bradford win the Super League Grand Final. Since the arrival of Terry Newton, Henderson has found it hard to gain selection into the Bulls run on Team.[citation needed]
On 23 June, 2007, the New Zealand Warriors announced they had signed Henderson for two years. [2] [3]
