Idaho Falls Chukars

The Idaho Falls Chukars are a minor league affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. They play in Idaho Falls, Idaho, at McDermott Field. The team plays in the Pioneer League, a short-season league which is designated as Rookie Advanced.

The team has existed since 2004. From 2000 until 2004, the Idaho Falls team was known as the Idaho Falls Padres, a San Diego Padres affiliate.

As of the 2007 season, the Chukars will play at Melaleuca Field, sponsored by the Idaho Falls based Melaleuca company, which will be located on the site of McDermott Field.
