Ignazio Abate (born 12 November 1986 in Sant'Agata de' Goti, Province of Benevento) is an Italian football left midfielder who currently played in Serie B with Modena F.C..
His career began with the A.C. Milan youth team. He played with Napoli, Sampdoria on Serie A and Piacenza. He played 42 games and scored 2 goals. For Italy national football team, he played 5 games in the Under 19 and Under 20 squads, in which he scored 1 goal.
He made his U-21 team debut against Luxembourg U-21, 12 December 2006, replacing Marino Defendi in 62 min.
