The United States Census Bureau has defined 6 Combined Statistical Areas (CSAs),[1] 11 Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs),[2] and 23 Micropolitan Statistical Areas (μSAs)[3] in the State of Illinois. The following table describes these areas with the following information:
