Immaculate Conception Academy-Greenhills

In 1935, the Chinese Filipino families asked the Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Conception (MIC) for a school so that their baptized children can lead Christian lives through school formation. Today, the school is named Immaculate Conception Academy (ICA), a private Catholic school for girls ages five to seventeen and is still run by MIC. The school's current directress is Sister Dina Ang. The foundress was Venerable Delia Tetreault who was from Quebec, Canada.

Immaculate Conception Academy's Beliefs(Philosophy):
1.Everyone is an image and likeness of God.
2.We are gifted with talents and skills.
3.We show gratitude for the gifts received by developing it.
4.We have to share generously to others whatever we received from God but the best gift we can share is the Good News-Jesus Christ.

ICA's Vision(Dream):
Self-actualized women of faith and service in the realization of a society where God reigns.

ICA's Mission:
To provide an integral Christian formation to the Chinese-Filipino young women.

The School Logo:
TORCH – ICA hopes to prepare girls who can be LIGHT BEARERS, like Christ and Mary, bringing TRUTH, GOODNESS, LOVE, LIFE and JOY wherever they go.
BALANCE – ICA aims to develop among the girls a well-rounded, integrated and liberated personality.
BIBLE – Being a Catholic School, ICA aims primarily at evangelization. The school hopes to provide an atmosphere that will encourage and challenge its students to discover and meet Christ, the LIVING WORD OF GOD.
