The Internet Broadway Database (IBDb) is an online database of Broadway theatre productions and their personnel. It is operated by the Research Department of the League of American Theatres and Producers, a trade association for the North American commercial theatre community.
The IBDb is the official archive for Broadway theatre. It provides records of productions from the beginnings of New York theatre in the 1700's up to today. Details include pertinent people involved as well as interesting facts and production statistics.
It was conceived in 1995 by Karen Hauser, head of the Research Department of the League of American Theatres and Producers.
