Irish St Leger

The Irish St Leger is a Group 1 flat horse race in the Republic of Ireland for three-year-old and above thoroughbreds run over a distance of 1 mile and 6 furlongs (2,816 metres) at the Curragh in September.

It was first run in 1915 and was originally contested by three-year-olds only, until opening up to older horses in 1983.
