Isinglass (1890-1911) was an British Thoroughbred racehorse who dominated during his time in racing and won the English Triple Crown.

Trained by James Jewett, who had trained the winner of the 1876 Grand National Steeplechase, Isinglass was sent to the track at age two and won all three races entered. Racing at age three, Isinglass captured the 1893 Two Thousand Guineas, the Epsom Derby and the St. Leger Stakes making him only the 6th horse to win the English Triple Crown. That same year, he lost the only race of his career when he finished second in the Lancashire Plate. He was ridden in all his races by Tommy Loates.

At age four, Isinglass was limited to three starts and won all of them. Brought back the next year only for the prestigious Ascot Gold Cup, a race his sire Isonomy won back-to-back in 1879 and 1880, the five-year-old Isinglass scored an easy three-length victory. Retired after a career that saw him win races at distances from ⅝ of a mile to as much as 2½ miles, his world record for career earnings remained unbroken in England for fifty-seven years. Sent to Cheveley Park Stud near Newmarket for breeding duty, Isinglass sired three British Classic Race winners, Cherry Lass, Glass Doll, and Louvois. He also was very successful as a sire of broodmares, notably as the damsire of Prince Palatine.

Isinglass died at Cheveley Park Stud on December 5, 1911. His skeleton is at the Natural History Museum in London.
