The J.O.B. Squad was a tongue-in-cheek professional wrestling stable of wrestlers that before this push, often saw themselves perennially on the losing end of matches as jobbers for established or up-and-coming wrestlers.

They usually came to the ring wearing t-shirts which variously bore the slogans "Pin me, pay me" or "J.O.B. Squad: 1-2-3 4-life" on the front, with "Being entertaining isn't in my JOB description" on the back. The group was led by Al Snow, who continued to use this gimmick in a small way until his retirement. Other members of the group included Duane Gill, Blue Meanie, Bob Holly, 2 Cold Scorpio and occasionally Terry Funk or Mick Foley.

The JOB Squad's logo and the phrase, 1-2-3 4-life were parodies of WCW's nWo.

One of the highest points of their career was when Al Snow and Blue Meanie entered in the 1999 Royal Rumble only for Meanie to be eliminated by Mabel and Snow by The Road Dogg. Duane Gill would be the face who cant win as he would lose his matches within 30 seconds or so. His high point came when he forced Marc Mero to retire in a singles match, he also entered the 1999 Royal Rumble as Gillberg where he was eliminated by Edge in 6 seconds.

Jerry "The King" Lawler, would frequently refer to JOB Squad members as, "guys who are allergic to success".

Their theme song in ECW was "Tubthumping" by Chumbawumba (which starts with the line "I get knocked down, but I get up again, you ain't ever gonna keep me down")
