Jake Paltrow

Jacob D. Paltrow (born September 26, 1975) is a Jewish-American director.

Paltrow was born in Los Angeles, California, to the late Bruce Paltrow, a film director, and Blythe Danner (a well-known character actress); Paltrow's father was Jewish and his mother was raised in the Quaker religion. He is the brother of Gwyneth Paltrow, nephew of Harry Danner, cousin of Hillary Danner and Katherine Moennig and brother-in-law of Chris Martin.
Paltrow's most known job was directing some NYPD Blue episodes, such as: Andy Appleseed (2003), Brothers Under Arms (2000) and Big Bang Theory (1999), following his father's footsteps as tv director. On 2006, he made his debut as a film director with the movie The Good Night, set to a October release. The movie was released at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival.
