"Jambi" is the third single and the second track from 10,000 Days by Tool. It was made officially available for radio airplay on February 12, 2007.[1][2]
Adam Jones uses a talk box during the guitar solo.[1]
"Jambi" was played at every show during the tour supporting 10,000 Days, most often opening the setlist, and followed by "Stinkfist".[citation needed]
Jambi is a province in Indonesia as well as a character from the show Pee-wee's Playhouse (specifically, a genie) though no link has been proven.
The song features a 9/8 riff at the beginning, one of the few Tool songs to utilize 9/8.
