Jan Crouch

Jan Crouch (born Janice Wendell Bethany, 1937) is the co-founder, vice-president and director of programming of the Trinity Broadcasting Network, or TBN, the world's largest Christian television network. She is the daughter of an Assemblies of God pastor. She married her husband, Paul, in 1958.
The Chronicle of Philanthropy in 2004 reported Crouch's annual personal income as $361,000. The network reports that during the first twenty years of its operation, she was paid roughly one-tenth her current income, with the amounts rising in the past ten years as she approached retirement. However, Crouch has produced products for TBN such as videos that account for a portion of her income.
She is the founder of the Smile of a Child Network and has built a hospital in Haiti for the underprivileged. She regularly visits underprivileged countries and distributes free toys and school supplies to needy children.
Jan produced the home video "No More Tears," filmed in Israel in which she extensively discusses depression.
Jan is often the target of many jokes due to her appearance. She is known for wearing large wigs, and it is rumored that she has had numerous facial plastic surgeries.[citation needed]
In May 2003, TBN announced that Jan Crouch had been diagnosed with colon cancer. She was successfully treated and went into remission by early 2004.
