Coordinates: 17°07′00″N 81°18′00″E / 17.1167, 81.3 Jangareddigudem (JRG) a town in the West Godavari District in Andhra Pradesh, India. It is one of the economic centres of the district, and it is a major panchayithi in upland area. The famous Hanuman temple known as Maddi Aanjaneyaswamitemple where lord hanuma resides in a Maddi tree is 6 km away from Jangareddigudem.

Jangareddigudem is located at 17.1167° N 81.3000° E.[1] It has an average elevation of 74 meters (246 ft).

"Ganganamma Gudi" the powerful goddess. This temple located middle of the Town.

Gokula Tirumala Parijathagiri :- Venkateshwara Temple was restructured recently which is very beautiful temple to visit and worship. It is believed that it is the only other place in Andhra Pradesh where there is a collection of seven mountains (Edu Kondalu) as in Tirumala - Tirupati.

Areas in Janagreddigudem are Ganganama Gudi Centre, JP Centre, Bose Bomma Centre, old bus stand centre,Bhagath Singh Centre,College center etc

Getting there: It is well connected from Eluru (HQ of West Godavari District) , Rajahmundry and Khammam through APSRTC. Surprise to know is, Jangareddigudem is surrounded by three side rivers and one side is a hill ( just like India)!. JRG has very good Educational Institutes like,TRIVENI Educational Academy,SURYA Residential school and college, Govt Junior College and C.S.T.S.Govt. Degree College, Vijaya Lakshmi Vidhya Nilayam, Zilla Parishad High School and other private institutes...

Government Degree College is now undergoing the assessment of NAAC, Banglore which provides the Grading by accredation within a global standards. C.S.T.S.Govt. Kalasala was accredited with "B+" Grade by NAAC Team governed by Prof. Nagappa and Prof. Indrani Sridharan in June 2007.

It has very beautiful villages and great plcaes to visit like Gubbalamangamma Temple, which is surrounded by forest and also a very popular picnic spot and is also famous for the goddess.

And here we can see the Big canal Surrounded in 10,000 acres (40 km²) of land near the JRG.
