Standing at 6'2" and weighing in at 230 lb (104 kg), Jason Clermont (born May 28, 1978 in Regina, Saskatchewan) was the Canadian Football League's 2004 Top Canadian Player and currently is a member of the British Columbia Lions' offensive squad, being one of their two all-star slotbacks. This past offseason, Jason returned to school to complete his Bachelor of Administration at the University of Regina. Prior to playing in the CFL, Clermont played for the University of Regina Rams under coach Frank McCrystal. He played high school football at Robert Usher Collegiate in Regina, Saskatchewan where among other positions he was a quarterback, and linebacker.

Jason Clermont started all of the 18 regular season games and playoff games. He tallied 1,220 yards on 83 receptions, and caught 7 touchdown passes. He was awarded the Canadian Football League's Top Canadian Player award, was named to the Western Division and CFL All-Star teams, and was named Top Canadian Player in the 2004 Grey Cup game.

Jason is also a huge contributor to the local communities in the Lower Mainland.

As of July 2006, Clermont was out with a torn MCL. He was injured when fellow teammate OL Rob Murphy fell on his leg with an accidental chop block. The incident happened in the first quarter of the Lions' season opening 45-28 win over the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He made his return on August 10th, 2006, in limited action in a 32-5 win against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He wears number 82 right now.
