Jean-Claude Darcheville (born July 25, 1975 in Sinnamary, French Guiana) is a French football striker currently playing for FC Girondins de Bordeaux in the French Ligue 1.

Darcheville began his professional career at Rennes. He played his first game for Rennes in 1995 against AS Monaco. Monaco won 3-1. In three seasons at Rennes, Darcheville scored five goals in 42 matches, averaging a goal every 8.4 games.

In 1998, he joined Nottingham Forest on loan (who were then in the Premiership). He scored two goals in 16 appearances, averaging one goal every eight games.

Darcheville left just after one season after failing to settle after the death of his wife and children in a car accident before his move to the City Ground in 1998.

In 1999, he left Forest and moved to FC Lorient in France. He scored 14 goals in 35 games in 1999 and 2000. He then scored eleven goals in 35 games and then 19 goals in 32 games in the season Lorient were relegated from Ligue 1. However, he scored the winning goal in the Coupe de France, France's version of the FA Cup, in Lorient's 1-0 win over SC Bastia. Overall he scored 44 goals in 102 games, averaging a goal every 2.3 games.

After relegation from Ligue 1, Darcheville joined Bordeaux scoring eleven goals in 35 games, then seven goals in 18 appearances. Overall he has scored 35 goals in 119 games, averaging a goal every 3.4 games.
