Jeff Danielson is the Iowa State Senator from the 10th District. He has served in the Iowa Senate since 2004. He received his AA in general studies from Hawkeye Community College and his BA in Public Administration and a Masters of Public Policy from University of Northern Iowa.

Danielson currently serves on the Appropriations committee; the Economic Growth committee; the Rules and Administration committee; the State Government committee; the Veterans Affairs committee; and the Transportation committee, where he is vice chair. He also serves as chair of the Administration and Regulation Appropriations committee. His prior public service experience includes Iowa Department of Transportation commissioner and Waterloo Planning & Zoning commissioner. He is a U.S. Navy veteran and currently serves the community of Cedar Falls as a professional firefighter.

Danielson was elected in 2004 with 16,712 votes, defeating Republican opponent Frank Dowie.
