Jersey Turnpike

The Jersey Turnpike was a turnpike in New Jersey, running west-northwest from New Brunswick to Phillipsburg. Its path is now roughly followed by County Route 527, Route 28 and U.S. Route 22.

The Jersey Turnpike was chartered February 27, 1806 to run from New Brunswick to Easton Bridge at Phillipsburg.
