Jesper Blomqvist (born February 5, 1974 in Tavelsjö, Västerbotten) is a Swedish ex-football player.

Blomqvist was a talented winger, who was unfortunately injury prone. He was brought in as a back-up to Ryan Giggs by Manchester United from Parma A.C. of Italy in 1998. While at United, he helped the club to 3 major titles in 1998/99 - the Premier League, the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League. The Champions League final turned out to be his last competitive outing for United due to a knee injury. He only scored one goal during his career with Manchester United.

Prior to joining Manchester United, Blomqvist played for Tavelsjö IK, Umeå FC, IFK Göteborg, A.C. Milan and Parma FC. It was whilst playing for Göteborg in a Champions League match against Manchester United that a young Blomqvist first caught the eye of Alex Ferguson.

In November 2001, Blomqvist was signed for Everton by Walter Smith to play on the wings with his compatriot Niclas Alexandersson. After injury problems and later, a change in manager, new boss David Moyes allowed him to leave the club, in August 2002, and he briefly played for Charlton Athletic. He then returned to his native Sweden and Djurgårdens IF. Blomqvist was part of the Swedish national team at the 1994 FIFA World Cup and was capped 30 times for his country.
