Jim McCarty

Jim McCarty (born James Stanley McCarty, 25 July 1943, Liverpool, England) is an English musician, best known as the drummer for The Yardbirds and Renaissance. He has also played in the bands Shoot (on lead vocals), Illusion (with three other ex-members of Renaissance), Stairway and Pilgrim.

Most of Jim's recordings have been issued under the names of the group he was in at the time, but one CD was issued under the name "James McCarty" -
