Jo Good began her career in broadcasting in 1998. Whilst studying for her A-levels she got up at 5am every Saturday, driving from Northumberland to Manchester to work part time for AA Roadwatch. There she broadcast travel news to radio stations across the country. Jo secured a part time job as a travel girl three days after her last exam was completed.

From there she became travel stand in at Kiss 102. She moved onto the evening show with Bam Bam at Galaxy 102 (as it had then become) before taking up a full time slot writing and reading news and entertainment for the Adam Cole Breakfast show. During her time there the team won the Sony Silver Award for Best Breakfast Show.

Jo was already doing solo shows across the rest of the station including drive and midmornings and the weekly networked show Galaxy On Line. Within a year she was working at Manchester's Key 103 where she presented the evening show and the Smash Hits network show

2003 saw the Capital radio group snap Jo up with the offer of the mid morning show on Southern FM. Added to this Jo was recruited by new digital TV channel Nation 277. In January 2005 MTV signed Jo up to present their flagship TRL show alongside Dave Berry and Alex Zane. In the 12 months that followed she worked across the full spectrum of MTV channels covering everything from the Oxegen festival to the international MTV coverage of Live8. She provided the live voiceover for the 2005 MTV Europe Music Awards in Lisbon.

Jo has interviewed Elton John, Bob Geldof, Cher and Orlando Bloom.

She also grabbed a chat with the elusive Arctic Monkeys (whom she infamously ejaculated in the backstage VIP area at 2006's NMEs) Her TV portfolio includes The Clothes show, The Smash Hits Tour, and many programmes produced by MTV in the UK.

She describes her self as a full spectrum music obsessive with a soft spot for the dance scene. She is also a club DJ and Ibiza regular since 1998.

Jo's current projects include a weekly Galaxy Chart for MTV Dance (Sundays, 9pm) She presents a weekly radio show called The Vodafone Live Hour which is broadcast across 9 UK radio stations Monday nights at 9pm.

A writer, sock obsessive and music guru, Jo is 29 and lives in Manchester and South London.
