John Flamsteed Community School

John Flamsteed Community School is a comprehensive secondary, or high school, in the village of Denby, Derbyshire, England named after Sir John Flamsteed, the first Astronomer Royal, who was a native of Denby.
The school consists of two main sections - an old section and a newer section, often referred to as the 'old school' and 'new school' by students. The school's specialist subjects are maths and computing.
The school recently featured in the top 10 of the schools leauge tables for The Derbyshire LEA.
