Johnny J is a music producer who is best known for the production on 2Pac’s albums, All Eyez on Me and Me Against the World. He was born in Juarez, Mexico in 1969 and raised in South Central Los Angeles. Johnny "J" now owns Klock Work Entertainment.

Johnny J started producing professionally in 1987. His first hit was a song called "Knockin Boots". by an artist named Candyman. Johnny J worked with various artists in his career such as, 2Pac, Mark Wahlberg and Jon B.

In 2004, Johnny J appeared on "Never Forget" with Val Young and former Outlawz-member Napolean . This was a tribute to 2Pac.
