Johnston Press

Johnston Press PLC is a newspaper publisher based in Edinburgh, Scotland. It runs The Scotsman publications and other newspapers around the United Kingdom and in Republic of Ireland.
The company was set up in Falkirk in 1767 as F. Johnston & Co Ltd, and changed to its current name when it was first listed on the London Stock Exchange in 1988.[1]
