Jonathan Phillip "Big Boy" Ogden (born July 31, 1974 in Washington, DC) is an American football offensive tackle who currently plays for the Baltimore Ravens.

He received his education at St. Albans School, excelling not only in football but also in track and field. An All-American in both sports, he decided on the UCLA instead of the University of Florida because UCLA let him do track and field. A legitimate Olympic level shot-putter, he decided to focus on football. In college, he was a four-year starter at left tackle and eventually had his jersey (#79) retired - only the fourth player in Bruins' history to receive that honor.

During the 1996 NFL Draft, Ogden was selected by the Ravens in the first round with the fourth overall choice.

In his nine-year career, he has started 166 games (through 2006-2007 season) and consistently performed as one of the best offensive linemen in the league. Ogden is a ten-time Pro Bowler at left tackle, earning trips to Hawaii from 1998-2007. He has also caught two passes in his career - both for one yard and both for touchdowns. He has recovered 10 fumbles in his career and also recorded 10 tackles in his NFL career. Ogden is a rare blend of both size, power and agility, excelling in both run blocking and pass blocking. Ogden is regarded as one of the most dominant pass blockers in NFL history.

Ogden won a championship ring with the rest of the Ravens when they defeated the New York Giants 34-7 in Super Bowl XXXV.

During the offseason Ogden makes his home in Las Vegas, NV[[1]]
