Jonathan E. Silverman (born August 5, 1966 in Los Angeles, California) is an American actor, perhaps best known for his roles in the TV series Gimme A Break!, as well as in the films Brighton Beach Memoirs (a film version of the first play of Neil Simon's Eugene Trilogy), Caddyshack II, and Weekend at Bernie's.

Jonathan Silverman also played the title role in the high-rated but short-lived mid-1990s television sitcom The Single Guy, which aired on NBC. He also appeared on CSI: Miami (in a 3rd season episode called "Under the Influence"). He currently stars in a new, soon to be short-lived, sitcom, In Case of Emergency which was a mid-season replacement on ABC for the 2006 season, but will be replaced by Notes from the Underbelly with only 11 of the 13 shows having been shown in early April 2007.

Jonathan is engaged to actress Jennifer Finnigan who has appeared in the series The Bold and the Beautiful and Close to Home.
