Jonesboro metropolitan area

The Jonesboro Metropolitan Statistical Area, as defined by the United States Census Bureau, is an area consisting of two counties in northeast Arkansas, anchored by the city of Jonesboro, Arkansas. The total MSA population in 2000 was 107,762. In 2005, ity had an estimated population of 151,485.[1]

Constituent counties of the MSA include Craighead County and Poinsett County.

Other notable cities in the area include Lake City, Caraway, Monette, Harrisburg, Trumann, and Marked Tree.
