Judah Friedlander (born March 16, 1969) is a comedian and actor, known for his trademark trucker's hats, oversized glasses and unkempt appearance, which he retains in most of his screen roles. Although first known by many as "The Hug Guy" from the Dave Matthews Band 2001 video Everyday, Friedlander's official introduction to showbiz was actually as a soundman on future star Chris Rock's short Who is Chris Rock?.

Ten years later, Friedlander started getting in front of the camera as a comic actor, with appearances on the now defunct series Lateline as a technician, and since then, he has appeared in numerous feature film comedies, often in small "scene-stealing" roles. He has appeared in several of Ben Stiller's films, including Meet the Parents and Zoolander. Friedlander's biggest movie role to date was in the critically acclaimed film American Splendor, as real life "nerd" and medical records clerk Toby Radloff, Harvey Pekar's unusual friend. He is also a series regular on NBC's 30 Rock, on which he plays one of the writers of The Girlie Show, a spoof of Saturday Night Live. In every episode, Friedlander can be seen wearing a different slogan on his trademark hat, which he designs himself.

Friedlander's best-known comedic schtick is "The World Champion of the World", in which he makes outlandish claims of greatness. He headlines at various standup comedy venues in New York and LA, including Caroline's.
