Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

The plot revolves around two people : the blue-collar worker Lim Teng Zui and the director of the Events and Promotion, Tanya Chew. Early on, it is revealed that Lim is a single father of a daughter and is quite poor, while Tanya has a mother but does not care for her. During a VIP visit, the combination of Lim's poor work ethics and his incompetence causes the VIP to fall when the wall gives way due to it being held together with masking tape instead of nails. An investigation is carried out, and 'finger-pointing' is done to find the scapegoat, in which Lim is blamed. As a result, his bonus is cut.

Infuriated, Lim confronts Tanya, and he chases her in his vehicle until they hurtle off the bridge. The duo are then sent to the hospital. When Tanya and Lim awakens, they find out that they have switched souls. After this exchange, they try to reverse the process, but fail to do so. They are forced to accept the fact that they can't get their bodies back, and adapt to living in their body. Tanya upgrades her skills, while Lim idles around.

Due to Lim's negligence, the department grossly overspends and the CEO, together with Chee and Eric, who had been offended by Tanya earlier, plans to shut down the department. In an attempt to save the department from closure, Tanya and Lim plans to put on a Job Fair Exhibition so that the CEO would think again about shutting it down.

Tanya and Lim tries some ways of getting publicity, but in the first attempt, red tape gets in their way and they would have to wait at least three months to be able to do anything. In the second attempt, the company receives complains from the members of the public. The duo decides to forget about the rules and makes the Exhibition a success, incurring Eric and Chee's wrath, who proceeds to sabotage the Exhibition. Tanya and Lim deals with the obstacles right to the end of the programme, where the sing-along ends in disaster as sparks from the planned pyrotechnics cause the stage to burst into flames. The majority of the audience flees, but Lim's daughter is trapped. Lim saves her, but as he is still in Tanya's body, the daughter runs to Tanya instead. Lao Char Bo, mother of Tanya, frets about Lim while the other looks on. They realise several things and they appreciate the difficulties the supervisor and the subordinate has to deal with.

At the end of the movie, it is revealed that the company has folded. The CEO is blacklisted for making too many mistakes. Eric and Chee sacked when the plot to is discovered.

Lim and Tanya decides to reenact the accident in an attempt to get back their original bodies. The credits roll as they start their vehicles.

After the credits, Lim's daughter calls Tanya mother, which suggests that the two married. The pair makes fun of each other by behaving in their idiosyncratic manners, and it is suggested that their attempt to reverse their bodies is successful.
