KDSU is a college campus radio station only broadcast in the Student Union and online at the KDSU.net website. This station is based in Madison, South Dakota at Dakota State University. KDSU is currently working on a podcast for everyone to hear off campus. This is due to the fact that the website only plays while on campus.

The Station is run by four Directors who have recently stepped down and voted in four newcomers.

Types of Music

KDSU supports all genres of music but is primarily inclined toward the Rock n' Roll scene since the school has placed a vulgarity restriction of up to ten vulgarities per track. This restriction usually excludes most uncensored Rap and Hip Hop songs.

Each slot lasts for one hour. Certain Shows have names Such as Imaginarium!, Rough and Ready!, Ragna-Rock. The DJ's on these shows are Marcus Heerdt, Dylan Jacobson and Dan Roberts.

The Original Directors went by the names: Buddha (William or Zach), (Jason) Jenkins, Pat and Casey. They recently stepped down and brought in the new Directors. The positions are as follows.

Director of Technology

Dylan Jacobson has been voted in as the new Director of Technology, working on the servers and the website.

Director of Programming

Marcus Heerdt has been voted as the new Director of Programming, handling the scheduling along with liscensing and band demos.

Director of Public Relations

Kari Hofman has been elected Director of Public Relations, dealing with advertising public spokesperson.

Director of Finance

Dan Roberts has joined the team as the Director of Finance, taking care of the book keeping.
