KVVA-FM
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
KVVA-FM (107.1 MHz; 23.5 kw) in Apache Junction and KDVA (106.9 MHz; 6 kw) in Buckeye, both in Arizona, are a pair of simulcasting Spanish Top 40 outlets serving the Phoenix area. The stations, both owned by Entravision Communications, are part of the "Super Estrella" satellite network.
KVVA was originally KSTM and had a Rock format prior to its switch to Spanish Top 40 in 1987.
KDVA signed on the air in 1992 as Adult R&B KMJK.
In 2000, Entravision acquired both KVVA and KMJK and combined the two into a simulcast for its "Radio Romántica" format. In 2005 they would flip to its current format.
KVVA was also the former callsign for KMVP, an unrelated AM station in Phoenix.
