Kansas State University - Salina

Kansas State University-Salina is a branch campus of Kansas State University, and the home of the University's College of Technology and Aviation. It is located in Salina, Kansas.

The College of Technology and Aviation was established in 1991 as a result of the merger of the Kansas Technical Institute with Kansas State University. It offers two- and four-year programs in the fields of engineering technology and aviation, consisting primarily of associates and bachelors degrees in mechanical and construction engineering technology, electronic engineering technology, computer systems and web development technology, and airway science in the form of professional pilot and aviation maintenance degrees. The academic programs are centered around a hands-on philosophy that blends theory and application in an effort to prepare students for real-world situations in their field of study.

Approximately 1,000 undergraduate students are enrolled in the College of Technology and Aviation. The college regularly places more than 95 percent of its graduates.
