Kaohsiung County (Traditional Chinese: 高雄縣; Hanyu Pinyin: Gāoxióng Xiàn; Tongyong Pinyin: Gaosyóng Siàn; Wade-Giles: Kao-hsiung Hsien; POJ: Ko-hiông-kōan) is a county in southern Taiwan administered as a county of Taiwan Province, Republic of China. It encloses but does not include Kaohsiung City.
