Actress Karen Malina White (born in June 25, 1965 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) performs as the voice of "Dijonay Jones" on the animated Disney Channel series The Proud Family. She has also starred in the TV series A Different World and The Cosby Show, playing the same character in both. She also starred in Malcolm & Eddie. She's also been in movies such as Once Upon a Time... When We Were Colored and Lean on Me, plus numerous TV guest appearances.
She was nominated for the 1990 Young Artist Award for "Best Young Actress Supporting Role in a Motion Picture" for her performance in "Lean on Me."
She also gueststarred as "Jewel," Jazz's wife (for at least a few episodes, at least), on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
