In 1995, she and fellow Mortal Kombat actors Ho Sung Pak, Daniel Pesina, and Phillip Ahn appeared in a never-released fighting game produced exclusively for the Atari Jaguar titled Thea Realm Fighters.

She also played a female ninja in the 1996 video game Catfight and can be seen in various workout videos. She later made 2 martial arts conditioning videos with former Mortal Kombat video game star Ho Sung Pak, who played the role of Liu Kang. However, she is more than 15 fitness/martial arts videos/DVDs on the market [seen on www.exercisedvds.com.].

In 2003, she played a minor part in the martial arts movie The Book of Swords. In a nod to her Mortal Kombat alter egos, Katalin portrays a female ninja, dressed in similar clothing as her Mortal Kombat counterparts and even wielding two sai like Mileena does. The movie also starred Pesina, Pak, and another Mortal Kombat actor, Richard Divizio; the other three actors are also seen in Mortal Kombat-style clothing/roles throughout the movie.

She is the owner of POW! MIxed Martial Arts and Chicago Krav Maga. Along with teaching at her training center in downtown Chicago, she often covers the Ultimate Fighting Championship for Grappling magazine, focusing primarily on features and interviews. She has over 150 article published in various martial arts magazines including Black Belt, Inside Kung Fu and Combat Sports, between others, and has been featured in Shape, Allure and Self magazines.

She is also an international fitness and martial arts presenter teaching at various conferences from Taipei to Aruba, and has spent some time as a spokeperson for Revgear. She also writes conditioning materials and manuals, and is a featured trainer on PodFitness.com.

In 1997, Zamiar, Ahn (Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat II), and Elizabeth Malecki (Sonya in Mortal Kombat) filed a lawsuit against Midway Games over lack of royalties for the home ports of Mortal Kombat II, a case in which Midway emerged victorious.[1]
