Kate Michael is a beauty queen from Lilburn, Georgia who holds the Miss District of Columbia 2006 title. Michael also competed in the Miss America 2007 pageant held January 29, 2007.

Michael graduated from Parkview High School in 2000, and went on to graduate Magna cum Laude from the University of Georgia in 2003. Currently, she is earning a joint Master's degree in Business Administration and Government from Johns Hopkins University.[1]

Michael also won two local Georgia beauty pageant titles - Miss Thunder Road 2004 and Miss Gwinnett County 2005, prior to being crowned Miss District of Columbia on July 1, 2006. Michael was named "The Most Beautiful Person on Capitol Hill" on July 27, 2005 by The Hill, which covers Congress.[2] On August 4, 2006, Michael was chosen as one of 17 annual recipients of the prestigious Bryce Harlow Foundation Scholarship award. Michael, along with two other Miss America 2007 competitors, appeared as a model in the January 2007 issue of Elle magazine. Michael also worked for three years as a Research Assistant for the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee under Senator Johnny Isakson of Georgia.
