Kathryn Crosby

Kathryn Crosby (born November 25, 1933 in Houston, Texas as Olive Kathryn Grandstaff) is an American actress and singer who performed her most memorable roles under her stage-name Kathryn Grant. She became Bing Crosby's second wife (despite being 30 years his junior), and was required to convert her name for the marriage. She largely retired after their 1957 marriage, except for playing the part of "Mama Bear" alongside her husband and children in Goldilocks (TV). Since Bing's death in 1977, she has taken on a few smaller roles and the lead in the 1996 Broadway musical State Fair.
She is the mother of 3; Harry Crosby, Mary Frances Crosby, and Nathaniel Crosby.
