Kenayodemo

Kenayodemo (Kenya National Youth Development Movement) is a youth organisation which was started in the year 2005. It was started by young patriotic Kenyans who were studying in Uganda then, and were interested in the way the government of Kenya was ruling. The Organisation is non-political which aims at uplifting Kenyan youths wherever they are.

After being formed, The chairmanship was assumed by Mr. Mochama Lawrence who was deputed by Mr. Edward Mwangi. Lawrence is the regional coordinator, Mombasa and Mwangi is the regional Coordinator, Nyeri district.

The secretary General was Mr. Jackson Maina Kariuki who oversees all secretarial duties and is based in Nanyuki town, the headquarters Laikipia district. He is also the Regional coordinator Laikipia. He is assisted by Ms Grace Muyesu, who is based in Mombasa as the Coordinator.

The treasurer was Miss Miriam Makau, based in Makueni and is also the regional coordinator, Makueni district.

Other influential coordinators include Mr Duke Mabeya (Kisii district), Partois Francis (Kilgoris), George Ngugi (Nyandarua), Titus (Amagoro), Viona Afande(Busia) and Vincent Obaga(Vihiga)

The above team is going to remain in power until year 2010 when general elections willbe held.

The movement has several branches according to the different Universtities in E.Africa. This are Makerere University Kampala Uganda, Kampala International University, Nairobi Univesrity, Kenyatta University, Moi Univestity, among all universities which have Kenyan Youths.
