Kevin McCarthy is the Iowa State Representative from the 67th District and is currently the majority leader. He has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since 2003. He received his bachelor's degree from Wartburg College and his JD from Drake University.[1]
McCarthy currently serves on a committee in the Iowa House - the Administration and Rules committee.
McCarthy was re-elected in 2006 with 5,656 votes, defeating Republican opponent Steve Inman and Independent opponent Brian McClain. [2]
