Sheikh Khalifa International Stadium (Arabic: ستاد شيخ خليفة الدولي) is a multi-use stadium in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is one of the home grounds of Al Ain FC. The stadium holds 12,000 people, and as of the 2006/2007 season all the Al Ain team matches will be played in this stadium, plus the stadiums capacity will be increased by another 4,000 so the new seating capacity will be 16,000. One of the most famous events to be staged on this stadium was the group E matches of the 2003 FIFA World Youth Tournament and the stadium also hosted some matches from the 1996 Asian Cup.
