Kodaira (小平市; -shi) is a city located in the western region of Tokyo, Japan.

The city has an estimated population of 181,560 and the density of 8,873.90 persons per km² as of January, 2007. The total area is 20.46 km².

The biggest employer in the area is Bridgestone, the tire company. There are several quaint restaurants and bars (izakaya).

Kodaira station is the most recognized train station serving the area, however there are several other train stations in Kodaira. They are mostly operated by the private company Seibu Railway.

The city was founded on October 1, 1962.

Kodaira operates public elementary and junior high schools.
