Kyla Angela Pratt (born September 16, 1986), is an American actress. She is a native of Los Angeles, California, and sometimes she is credited as Kyla A. Pratt. Kyla is also the eldest of four children.

Kyla Pratt's first real acting experience came on a Friends episode, "The One Where Rachel Quits." She plays the scrud that Ross encounters in the Brown Birds.

Pratt has been involved in many Disney Channel projects, such as The Proud Family television show as the voice of Penny Proud, and was also in "The Proud Family Movie" as the same character's voice. She also was featured in one episode on Lizzie McGuire as Gordo's girlfriend. She starred on an episode of So Weird. She is also featured in the upbeat version of A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes with the other Disney channel stars. She also was in one episode of Tia and Tamera Mowry's 1990s hit show Sister Sister.

As a movie actress, she was in the movie Dr. Dolittle and its two sequels, playing Maya Dolittle. In 1999, she won a Nickelodeon Kids' Choice award for "Favorite Rising Star." Pratt also starred in the role of Doris in the 2004 live-action film Fat Albert. Pratt starred as Amanda Beale in the Nickelodeon TV film, Maniac Magee. She was also in the movie Love and Basketball.

She has done many commercials, including one for Nike where she played basketball, and she also participated in the television series Smart Guy, where she also plays basketball with Tahj Mowry, the show's star, in one of the episodes. She also appeared in various WNBA commercials in which she was the lead of three girls and gives a lecture to various WNBA stars, including Cynthia Cooper. The commercial became such a buzz that she (and the other girls) appeared on The Rosie O'Donnell Show.

Pratt also starred in the UPN show One On One as "Breanna Barnes" from September 2001 to May 2006. She also guest starred in an early episode of noir detective show Veronica Mars, also on UPN. She starred in Dr. Dolittle 3 which was release straight to DVD on April 25, 2006.

She currently resides with good friend and fellow actress Jennifer Freeman in Los Angeles. Pratt also attends the Hamilton Academy of Music, in Los Angeles, California along with actors such as Shia LaBeouf and Emile Hirsch.
