Ladyville

Ladyville is a village in the Belize District and the largest in the nation of Belize, 8 miles to the north west of Belize City. The population is approximately 5,000 people and essentially has become a suburb of Belize City, with much of its residents commuting to the city on a daily basis. The Northern Highway, one of the main highways that connect the Belize District to the north of the country, runs through it.
Phillip S. W. Goldson International Airport, formerly known as The Belize International Airport (BZE), is located in Ladyville. The airport serves Belize City and is the nation of Belize's main airport. It has a runway length of 7600ft and is currently served by 8 airlines.
Also in Ladyville are the headquarters of the Belize Brewing Company, brewers of Belikin beer and Lighthouse lager, and a Coca-Cola bottling plant. The Belize Defense Force along with BATSUB (British Army Support Unit Belize) is also headquartered here at Price Barracks.

There is one High School in the Village - Ladyville Technical High School. There are three Primary Schools namely, Our Lady of The Way R.C. School, Ladyville Evangelical School and the Seven Day Adventist Primary School. There are numerous kindergarten and day care centers for children also.
Ladyville falls under the constituency of Belize Rural Central. Currently the area representative for the Belize Rural Central Division is P.U.P. Minister the Hon. Ralph Fonseca. The Village Council is currently held by the U.D.P. and the Chairman is Luciano Choc.
